Great stay again Positive: Great stay again, the room was different to what I had booked, I found out the room was on first floor, but they managed to find me a twin ground floor room for the night that was Awesome of them, because it was short notice, as always, the room was spotless and warm, will stay there again. Negative: silly me didn't check if it was a ground floor room, my fault.

Recommended Positive: good value, great location (for our needs), easy parking, very good range of facilities, clean and tidy, modern decor, local shops / food outlet. No hesitation in returning or recommending NB: Didn't take up the breakfast / diner option but looked very good value Negative: TV reception poor. Pixelated screen the norm. bathroom lighting very poor and turns off automatically....not good when behind glass in the shower! no heating on Sat morning but great on Sunday bed - joined spring type mattress, so any movement by partner felt. Perfectly comfy when no movement We were in room 7 which was above the kitchen / dining. Lots of activity noise from early (05.20 on Sat) and then noisy chatter when I assume breakfast is being served. Probably down to us but room not made up / replenished. However the instructions to see staff for supplies didn't work as couldn't find them All of above wouldn't prevent us returning or recommending and listed only as points to consider for attention / improvement

Great value friendly staff good shower Positive: Great facilities for our stay as partner had just had a hip replacement surgery so walk in shower was perfect Negative: Beds a bit soft, rooms not particularly sound proof as could hear other residents

A warm stay after a wet walk! Positive: Excellent location for walking the Viking way. Comfy bed, fantastic shower, everything we needed and more . Brilliant takeaway across the road. We love staying in places like this, get a code, get the key and you’re left to your own devices . Perfect for us. Negative: We got an email telling us room 7 and the key code, so we let ourselves in and unpacked. Then I saw a message saying we were in room 8 and the key was in the door. I rang the owner and explained there was a mix up, for one night we didn’t want to pack up and move so we stayed in 7. On the way out we had a look in 8 and realised we’d missed out! Room 8 is bigger with nicer furniture and a walk in shower, room 7 is smaller with a shower cubicle . The moral of this story is read messages before unpacking!! Totally our own fault, maybe they weren’t busy and had kindly upgraded us , oh well, our loss and as I say room 7 was everything we needed , but 8 had a cherry on top!! Thanks for a great stay.
